The Darned Fine Workshop was established to produce functional, durable and beautiful clothing to be worn for everyday working and living. Each piece is handmade from our base in Newcastle upon Tyne; cut and sewn to exacting standards, using only the finest materials and time-proven processes throughout.

We make men's and women's garments to order, inspired by workwear and utility. Buy wise, buy well, buy once.

We offer a darning, tailored alterations, and general repairs service for your beloved denim. Breathing new life into old favourites.

We create truly unique and individually numbered pieces restructured from deadstock and upcycled fabrics. Editions of one, never to be repeated.

The Workshop places an emphasis on providing a personal end to end service, all delivered with our singular commitment to making the highest quality products that are as hardwearing as can be.
