Daily wear, year on year, will take it’s toll on even the most rugged of clothing.

One of the workshop’s central principles is to preserve the usable life of quality denim, and we endeavour to undertake any viable repair work to support this aim.

Please note: We’re currently only able to offer our general repairs service to UK-resident customers. If you live outside of the UK and would like to send your denim for general repair, please contact us first to discuss your requirements.

REPAIR OPTIONS

GENERAL REPAIRS

Examples of general repairs include:

Replacement belt loops
Unpick bartacks, remove belt loop, add recycled / colour matched denim, add replacement belt loop, stitch back together, add new bartack

Buttons
Snapped or fallen off shank - replace with new button

Surrounding material has degraded - add new layer of material, darn, replace button

Rivets
Remove existing, replace with new copper rivet

Pockets
Existing - patch, or add a new material patch

Total replacement - unpick side seam, cut rivets off, unpick bar tacks, unpick waist band, unpick fly, unpick pocket front, sew new pocket back, reassemble, replace rivets as needed

Bartacks
Remove existing, add new bartack

CUSTOMISATION

We occasionally take on interesting custom projects, from faithfully rebuilding vintage pieces to adapting old favourites for new uses.
